Pre-GFC Meetings & GFC Quick Takes

In its efforts to foster the exchange of information related to academic governance and policy, the MRFA’s Academic Policy and Governance Officer hosts monthly Pre-GFC Drop in Meetings.  These meetings are held online and in the Faculty Centre on the Wednesday in the Fall and Tuesday in the Winter, prior to each GFC meeting (which is usually the third Friday of the month). All interested members are encouraged to attend these open meetings to review the GFC package and brainstorm on potential issues of interest.

GFC Quick Takes

The MRFA’s Academic Policy and Governance Officer will be sending a short “Quick Takes” document to all MRFA members each month after the the GFC package is made available. These high level summaries of important matters and faculty perspectives on the GFC agendas will be a useful resource for faculty GFC Councillors and will assist in keeping all MRFA members informed of matters at GFC.

The Quick Takes will be sent directly to all faculty GFC Councillors prior to the GFC meeting.
