Progressive Educators Pursuing Excellence
In preparing for bargaining, the MRFA’s Negotiating Team meets with every academic unit to gather input from the membership. This input is compiled and considered in preparation for bargaining and in the development of the bargaining survey. The bargaining survey is sent to all members of the Association in the fall prior to the commencement of Bargaining.
Results from the bargaining survey, in conjunction with the Executive Board’s input and the Association’s long term bargaining goals, form the basis for the Negotiating Team’s Statement of Interests which is exchanged with the Board’s Team at the outset of bargaining.
Bargaining survey results are anonymous and confidential. Reports on survey results will only be provided to the membership in aggregate, as appropriate, and during bargaining, as required, in the process of negotiating specific articles.
