Before Signing a Contract – What you need to Know

 At Mount Royal University, negotiating your grid step is bound by Article 13 in the Collective Agreement

Congratulations on being offered a contract at Mount Royal University. But, before you sign on the dotted line there are some important questions that are helpful to keep in mind. What is essential to know is that this aspect of your hiring process a) needs to be done at the time of your initial appointment, b) that it is the new faculty member’s responsibility to provide evidence of their experience and qualifications, and c) it is also recommended that the evidence is provided through written verification.
