Special Meetings shall be limited to the subject matter described in the notice for such a meeting. Special Meetings are held in accordance with Bylaws Articles relating to Honorary Members, Change of Dues, Special Dues, Borrowing, Budget, Amendments, Executive Board Vacancies, Removal from Office, Ratification, or on any other item of Association business as identified by the Executive Board. Special Meetings may also be held whenever a majority of members of the Executive Board or fifty regular members petition the Executive Board for such a meeting. When such a petition for a Special Meeting is received by the Executive Board, the Executive Board shall provide written notice of the Special Meeting within five working days. Such a Special Meeting shall normally be scheduled to take place within fifteen working days of receipt of such a petition. Refer to the MRFA Bylaws for more information.
