- Prepare lectures (pre-recorded and/or synchronous)
- Prepare assignments and tests
- Mark assignments and tests (up to an hour per student for hundreds of students per assignment and test)
- Answer emails (hundreds to thousands per semester)
- Be available for office hours, and are expected to be IT experts
- Attend education discussion meetings (Department, Faculty Councils, Faculty Association, General Faculties Council, others)
- Serve on Committees (Department, Faculty Councils, Faculty Association, General Faculties Council, others)
- Complete assignments for Committee work
- Attend Professional Development Workshops to improve teaching skills
- Scholarly Research (in their field of expertise or on the subject of teaching and learning)
