  • Prepare lectures (pre-recorded and/or synchronous)
  • Prepare assignments and tests
  • Mark assignments and tests (up to  an hour per student for hundreds of students per assignment and test)
  • Answer emails (hundreds to thousands per semester)
  • Be available for office hours, and are expected to be IT experts
  • Attend education discussion meetings (Department, Faculty Councils, Faculty Association, General Faculties Council, others)
  • Serve on Committees (Department, Faculty Councils, Faculty Association, General Faculties Council, others)
  • Complete assignments for Committee work
  • Attend Professional Development Workshops to improve teaching skills
  • Scholarly Research (in their field of expertise or on the subject of teaching and learning)
