MRU Star Party – November 6

This Thursday is a free Star Party by me and other astronomers with telescopes (The RASC) here at MRU. We meet on the top level of the East Gate Parkade — 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Parking is also free on levels 1 to 4 – instructions on the poster attached to this email.

Everyone welcome (friends, family, neighbours) because it is good fun for all ages (e.g., free Star Chart). We will be looking at the closest Moon of 2025 (the “Full Beaver Supermoon”) along with Saturn, star clusters, and a comet (C/2025 Lemmon).

Come as you are (we have plenty of scopes) or bring your own binoculars or telescope if you want some assistance with using that.

Can’t wait to see you and other colleagues there,
