Why sign up NOW?

·         Because you'll be away or too busy in August (and some of the teams will be FULL by then).

·         It is "First come, first served."  We will make every effort to allow as many MRU employees to participate as possible (depends on the sport), but it is "first come, first served" in many cases.

Who can participate?

·         All MRU employees, 18+ years:

·         Faculty

·         Support staff

·         Temporary

·         Casual

·         Management

·         Exempt

·         Retired

What's this all about?

·         http://www.calgarycorporatechallenge.com/MRU has been participating in Calgary Corporate Challenge (CCC) every year since 2000.

·         There are athletic (e.g. Bowling, Volleyball, etc.) and Non-athletic sports >>> 8-ball, Darts, Horseshoes, Bocce, Trivia, Scavenger Hunt, Mini Golf

·         Most CCC events take place September 10 - 25, 2010.

·         There are also special events you could participate in:  Blood Donor Challenge (Apr - Sep 2010) and the Big Bike Challenge (Aug 26, 2010)

What's in it for Me?

·         It's free for all employees, you get a t-shirt and you could win stuff!

·         Socialize, meet new people and have fun (MRU focuses on participation, not competition).

·         Network and team build with other MRU employees.

·         Showcase your skills and talents (18 events, both non-athletic & athletic choices).

·         Network with over 18,000 people from 200 Calgary companies.

·         Help to support CCC's charities: Calgary Inter-Faith Food Bank, Canadian Blood Services, Heart & Stroke Foundation
